Who decides what happens in Butler County?

It’s a deceptively simple question. We tend to think of government as something that happens in Columbus or Washington, DC, but much of the government that touches our daily lives happens much closer to home. In Butler County, three elected county commissioners sit at the center of it.

The Board of Commissioners makes decisions involving public spending, services, economic development, infrastructure, and other responsibilities of county government. In other words, while the job may not always make headlines, commissioners help shape the practical future of the place we call home.  That makes the choice in this year’s commissioner race worth paying attention to.

Mike Miller is running as the Democratic candidate for Butler County Commissioner. Mike is a longtime Southwest Ohio resident, youth sports coach, and community volunteer. His goal is to support local families and help Butler County grow for working people.

The question before this November 3rd on election day is: Who do we want helping decide what Butler County becomes for our families in the years to come?

For voters who value working families and local growth, Mike Miller offers a particular vision of what county government can be: practical, local and connected to the people who live here.
